When working in a fun industry like social, some people joke around that "it's not that serious, we're not curing cancer." Except with Fishawack Health, launching new social channels for Optune, a brain cancer slowing/stopping device, each day I felt the impact of talking to patients and family of patients who were able to extend their lives through this cutting edge medical device.

The agency at the time did not come from a social background, and were in the middle of a complex merger. I came in to help align regulatory mandatories with social best practices. When copywriters and account managers were stressed with character counts, I suggested we turn images into video to fit more text.
